This Privacy Policy explains how LiaoWeiWan (the Service) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data. The Service is currently provided by an individual operator. For any questions about this policy, contact support@liaoweiwan.com.

The Service is provided and maintained by an individual operator, who is responsible for the personal data it processes.

Data we collect
Account data: identifying information provided when you register and sign in through Clerk, such as your email.
Uploaded chat history: the chat files you choose to upload (.txt, .csv, .json, .zip), used to build an AI memory persona.
Persona details: the persona name, the relationship, and other details you enter.
LINE binding: the LINE binding identifier created when you activate a persona, used to deliver replies on LINE.
Payment status: the plan and subscription status returned after payment is processed by the payment service CREEM; the Service does not store full card numbers.
Usage records: the minimal operational records needed to run the Service and prevent abuse.
How we use data
To build and maintain an AI memory persona from your uploaded chat history and to reply on LINE.
To keep the Service running, protect it, prevent abuse, process payments, and provide plan features.
The Service does not sell personal data to third parties.
Storage and data isolation
Raw uploads and processed data are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3); persona and memory data are stored in a database.
Each persona's data is isolated by persona and owner, and is accessible only to the user who created it.
Sensitive content
When building memory summaries, personally identifiable details (such as email, phone, and ID numbers) are masked.
Content marked as highly sensitive is excluded from reply retrieval.
Processors
The Service relies on the following providers to the extent necessary, sharing only the data each needs to do its job:
OpenAI: language-model processing to build personas and generate replies. Clerk: account registration and sign-in. CREEM: payment and subscription processing. LINE: delivering replies through the LINE messaging service. Amazon Web Services: data storage and compute.
Some of these providers are located outside Taiwan, so personal data may be processed abroad.
Retention and deletion
You can delete a persona at any time. Deletion also removes that persona's memory, messages, LINE binding, and processed files, and schedules deletion of the raw upload.
For audit and security purposes, only a minimal record that contains no conversation content is kept after deletion.
Raw uploads from incomplete builds or trials are cleared automatically once their retention period ends.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data, and delete any persona you created.
